Violet discovered her enthusiasm for education after watching a TONI&GUY show and set her sights on working for the brand—eventually becoming an Art Director and Educator in the Queensland academy. In 2008 Violet relocated to London to work for the brand’s flagship salon on Regent Street, worked on a number of shows at London Fashion Week and welcomed a celebrity clientele including former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland and other music acts.
She has also received many awards during her sixteen-year career, notably gaining a coveted place on the Australian F.A.M.E Team in 2007, as well as directing teams for international hair and fashion shows.
Violet’s “overwhelming respect” for Moroccanoil because of the change the brand has impacted in the industry globally led her to realize she just had to be a part of it. She is currently one of 14 hairstylists worldwide that make up the Moroccanoil Global Education Team.
Inspired by teaching others and the buzzing energy backstage at global fashion weeks, Violet has been educating stylists and working on shows in New York, London and Japan. To date, her portfolio of international brands include Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Badgley Mischka, Diane Von Furstenberg, Delpozo, Cushnie et Ochs and Marchesa.
Her role with Moroccanoil sees her sharing this passion for education across platforms in Australia, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, just to mention a few, as well as the flagship Moroccanoil Academy in New York City. She continues to grow and lead teams of Moroccanoil educators throughout 11 global markets in her role as International Education Manager, Asia Pacific.
